If you don't hear the sound on your EKS qui can try this :

on windows 7 :

Open the configuration panel. Open "SOUND".
A window appear. doubleClick on the first EKS.
A new window appear.
In the tab "Level", move the level cursor on 0% and put it at 100%
close the window and repeat this opération for each EKS.

At the end, open virtual DJ and test your EKS.
Normally they must work.

Can anyone help, Iv'e upgraded from an older version of traktor to Pro 2.0.1 and cant seem to get my XP5's to work with it, iv'e tried following the setup wizard but EKS is not in the list of hardware manufactuers. Iv'e chossen traktor pro from EKS MIDI agent and still doesn't work. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Goodafternoon, I had change my computer this month, but my XP 5 don't work with windows 7. I did all the Explications given on the web site, but ii don't work. I use Virtual DJ 7. Thanks you for your anwser.

May be uncompatibilities was on previous versions on macbook hardware only and on new we all have some fun ? )))

Standart Midi Range is 0-127 (Only 128 gradations of the parameter)... So 6% or 8% or more range needed simly to devide by 128 for the accuracy results. For better accuracy needed more bits of the midi messages (12-14 or more). If extended midi driver would be written for XP series too (Otus have 14 bit driver?), than accuracy of Its pitch would be better than all Pioneer CDJ... 100 MM, FINELY CONSTRUCTED PITCH FADER ! (AND VERY COMFORTABLE BIG JOG ! TOO), IMHO, MUST BE AT MINIMUM EQUAL OR MORE DETAILED & SHARP THAN THE CDJs. Standart midi 128 so very poor for digital DJing in the 21st century... Extended midi for XP series controllers may would blowing the second life for its owners, if marketters & supportters do that for EKS community! ))

it also sounds like your RAM is being over used by something
its possible you may have a few files on your laptop that should not be running
(Check your task manager and turn them off if not needed )
also do a debugging of the machine

i goto task manager and turn off a TON of things

We would suggest using a USB hub with external power source. It sounds that the USB power is insufficient.

You will have to adjust the volumes in Window's properties for each device (right-click the speaker icon on taskbar, then select device and adjust volume.
The problem you have may be due to a bug in the latest MIDI driver. The midi agent instead of device ID shows (hid#vid) and sees only one controller when two are connected. I am having the same problem right now and I'm desperately lookin for a solution - the older drivers..

Hi! I'm trying to install two XP-10 om a Win XP computer and I get different volumes for the two devices. Same setup all over.. I also have a problem to get the controllers to controll anything in XP. Any ideas??
