Musikmesse 2008 summary

After NAMM the international anticipation towards the introduction of EKS' next generation DJ-controller Otus was heavily building up, so we were anxious to present the prototype at Frankfurt. We packed our gadgets and a selected bunch of staff and headed for Germany.

After a couple of days of building the stand, we were ready and enthusiastic to start the exhibition and to see how people would react to our products.

During the first day it occurred to us that our efforts to think out of the box were not in vain, as most of the people we talked to seemed more or less blown away by the design, features and innovative solutions of our precious newborn Otus.

Despite the rather distant positioning, the booth gathered an increasing horde of industry professionals, DJ's and press representatives from day one, and this continued for the whole four days. Even after the stand was taken down, people came to ask questions about this strange looking streamlined piece of equipment, and of course we were happy to provide them with answers.

All in all the fair went well and we had fun and met a lot of interesting people. EKS would like to thank all the visitors at our booth and we wish to see you again soon!
