OTUS FIRMWARE & DRIVER UPDATE for WINDOWS

A new driver pack and Otus firmware update is now available for Windows computers. It adds among others X/Y pad functionality for touchpad and advanced MIDI out LED control for Otus and new Traktor Pro presets for XP series. A Mac update will be available shortly.

The upgrade contains:

Fimware

• S/PDIF synchronization fix
• MIDI out LED control upgrade/fix
• Pitch slider synchronization bug fix

Driver

• XY pad MIDI control added
• LED control improved
• VU LED control (MIDI out)
• New presets for Traktor Pro
• High resolution MIDI (14bit) support for touch pitch control
• Traktor Pro fix for scratch/wheel (Otus & XP series)

Get your updates from our download page.

After downloading, upgrade the firmware following these instructions:

1. Extract all files from the archive to your computer
2. Start fwupload.exe from the x64 -directory (64bit systems) or the x86 -directory (32bit systems)
   
   
    
3. Connect OTUS controller
4. Press "Open" and select the firmware to upload (otus_fw_1.5.bin)
   
   
    
5. Press "Update". While update is in progress do not disconnect the controller
   
   
    
6. AFTER the update is complete reconnect OTUS and close the firmware update executable
   
   
    

If everything went as it should, you have now successfully updated firmware of the OTUS controller. If there were errors (red messages in the status display), follow the instructions given by the application. For additional support you may contact techsupport@eks.fi.
