MIDI Mapper Guide for Otus

EKS XMAP MIDI Mapper is a powerful extension to our MIDI driver. It allows you to define what kind of MIDI data each control sends out. XMAP is included in the EKS Driver Suite.

Before using the XMAP MIDI Mapper, register and log in to our Downloads and Updates section, download the EKS MIDI drivers, run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. 

Basic Settings

EKS Drivers include pre-installed default settings for your Otus controller. You can also “teach” most softwares to behave as you wish by using the “MIDI learn” function, supported by most DJ softwares.

EKS XMAP also allows you to specifically define what kind of MIDI data each control sends out. This feature comes in handy when..

• You want to create new events based on combined controls
• Your favourite software doesn’t have the so called “MIDI learn” function
