Otus with DjDecks (PCDJ DEX)

5 messages - 1044 views
Hi, i'm using Otus with DjDecks (that is pratically the same of PCDJ Dex). Now, the problem is that the custom mapping is quite bad: some knobs and buttons aren't mapped and the effect section is verry bad mapped. I'm trying to modify the xml file but is difficoult for me. is there a program that show what are the midi imputs to map the lights of Otus? Thanks
djalbyb at the pcdj forum one of the guys is working on a "how to" it been a while I might have to bump that thread and see where he is at. the whole xml thing is confusing to me too
thanks,
i take a look every day to pcdj and djdecks forum but the Otus controller is owned by not lots of people (and many Otus user use Traktor) so the development for the mapping that i need is very slow
djalbyb the mapping in pcdj is pretty basic There are some thing I would like to change but really haven't had the energy to do it. I have had the otus since January and now it available here in the USA and a bit cheaper since a I bought mine. I bought mine out from HTFR. The price point is not for everyone. I'm happy. It does have midi learn and you can map it to your liking. I did that at first because the development of the software mapping was slow.
well, i hope to finish my personal mapping...
it's quite hard but... i need it :D
