XP10 - Sound breaks up in noise after a while

4 messages - 729 views
Hello, im using 2x XP10 for mobile DJing. With one of my notebooks, ive got the problem that after a period of mixing (1 to 3 hours) the sound of one controller suddenly breaks up into a permanent noise. If i enter the ASIO settings and the controller resets, everything is fine again. this only happens with one special notebook. the other one and my stationary PC are fine, so i think ist hats something to do with the chipset / usb ports. the machine is a AMD Sempron 3000 with VIA KT K8N800 chipset. are there any known problems with this chipset? regards daniel
can't help you but I have a similar problem with my Lenovo X60, would be good to get an answer from tech support
all the best

Hello,

We would suggest using a USB hub with external power source. It sounds that the USB power is insufficient.

Best regards,

it also sounds like your RAM is being over used by something
its possible you may have a few files on your laptop that should not be running
(Check your task manager and turn them off if not needed )
also do a debugging of the machine

Firstly though, when i start to use my Tracktor with XP units
i goto task manager and turn off a TON of things
