CD backup?

Does anyone use CD's for a backup in case of laptop crash? I was wondering if this is a common concern. Thanks!

i'll use time machine in apple os and an loose backup hhd of 500gb for audio en data files of traktor and driver stuff.

but if you use windows you can use windows backup or just buy an external hdd and put your files you want to save on that thing.
