What going on here?

This forum is dead. I just recently purchased the Otus Controller and I have some questions. When i try to scratch with it there is a delay and the jog wheel feels heavy. is there a way to physically adjust the wheel so that it can respond better. I will post up a video to show you what I'm talking about.

Here is my set up.
Tried to Post a picture of my Otus http://www.flickr.com/photos/34214277@N03/5437119792/in/photostream/

I like this unit except it just doesn't respond to scratching very well, so i might put it up for sale. The unit is great for controlling effects and cue Points, Looping, and even the strip that control the pitch responds rally well. I tried the Native Instruments S4 unit and the scratching feels much tighter on that unit. Why? I live in the U.S. and many music store don't carry this unit. I think EKS should work on an software update which will address scratching, and overall jog wheel response. This is suppose to be a future proof controller?

PS could someone post an updated picture or video of the Otus Raw or the Otus +
Hello,

Unfortunately there is no way of physically adjusting the weight of the scratch wheel in Otus models.

The reason S4's scratch is more responsive is simply because it's developed by Native Software and doesn't use MIDI at all, so they can natively tweak their code to match their own gear. That's why there's very little to do in our behalf to reduce the latency - of course the latencies can be minimized in our drivers assuming that you run on a sufficient computer.

Regards,
-EKS
That's too bad because I really liked the unit but reading your response tells me that this product will not be improved on. When will there be new drivers available? Traktor Pro 2 will be available in two weeks and your product still has latency issues. Please tell me your company is doing something.
